Before we begin, you’ll receive a free 20-minute consultation to understand the process and so I can get to know you and your child.
First Step:
Meet in person for your child to take their pretest for the ACT, SAT, or LSAT. The test takes approximately 3 hours to complete. Your student should not feel pressure to study or prepare before this pretest. Directly following, I will score the test and do an in-depth review of the results; looking at each question and answer to gain an understanding of where we need to spend the most time preparing for the actual test.
At this point, I will develop a customized lesson plan that your student and I will work on together up to the testing day. Each of the test sections will be prioritized in the order of your student’s needs and opportunities for growth. The plans I create do not only give students a deeper understanding of the testing material; but beyond that helps them learn about themselves, methods to cope with stress, and understanding how they can best thrive in a learning environment. I truly enjoy getting to know your child’s learning style and helping them prepare for their future.
