TESTING PREP

Before we begin, you’ll receive a free 20-minute consultation to understand the process and so I can get to know you and your child.

First Step:
Meet in person for your child to take their pretest for the ACT, SAT, or LSAT. The test takes approximately 3 hours to complete. Your student should not feel pressure to study or prepare before this pretest. Directly following, I will score the test and do an in-depth review of the results; looking at each question and answer to gain an understanding of where we need to spend the most time preparing for the actual test.

At this point, I will develop a customized lesson plan that your student and I will work on together up to the testing day. Each of the test sections will be prioritized in the order of your student’s needs and opportunities for growth. The plans I create do not only give students a deeper understanding of the testing material; but beyond that helps them learn about themselves, methods to cope with stress, and understanding how they can best thrive in a learning environment. I truly enjoy getting to know your child’s learning style and helping them prepare for their future.
Cost: $450

Second Step:
Meet in person or facetime to review the pretest results and customized lesson plan, beginning with where the most improvement is needed.
Cost: $80/hr
(This meeting is typically 2 hours)

Third Step:
Based on your student’s needs and lesson plan, we will determine a schedule to meet weekly or biweekly leading up to your test.
Cost: $80/hr
(Meetings are typically 1-2 hours)

Fourth Step:
The week leading up to the test, the parents and student will receive a tailored strategy for what to do each day to best prepare. I will also text the student each day for accountability and support.
Cost: $200 flat fee

Fifth Step:
Take the test! And amaze yourself! You’ll be very proud of the work you put in and can celebrate and rest!
Followup: I will touch base with your student to via text or phone to get feedback on how the test went.

Note: A typical student works with me for around a year, but I can work with you in whatever timeframe you have. We meet based on your schedule and time availability for 1-2 hours per session.
